Two artists on this list, Harper Simon and Dani Harrison from Thenewno2, are the sons of pop music legends, Paul Simon and George Harrison, respectively.

There are some amazing covers on this list, including Iron and Wine's cover of New Order's "Love Vigilantes," Steve Earle's cover of Townes Van Zandt's "No Place To Fall," and Neko Case's cover of Harry Nilsson's "Don't Forget Me."
